FARRAR, ROBERT C. "BOB," 80, of Louisville, returned home to his heavenly father Sunday November 4, 2012 at Norton Audubon Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was the founder of Bradco Inc., former president of Leggett & Platt Simpsonville Division, a graduate of Indiana University, a member of the Free Masons Middletown Masonic Lodge #218, a U.S. Army veteran, president of Lighthouse Promise Inc. and a member of Middletown United Methodist Church.

Bob was a loving caring husband, father and papa.

He was an obedient servant of the Lord and a patriot to his country. Bob lived to enrich the lives of family, friends and the community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Farrar and Josephine McIntosh.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sandra Harting Farrar; daughter, Robin Gamez (Bill Bruenderman), Dane Bruenderman, Barrett, Madison and Brock Gamez, son, Brad Farrar, Mackenzie and Brighton Farrar, son, Michael Farrar (Becky), Peary and Macy Farrar, daughter, Nancy Parker (Larry), Megan and Andrew Parker, sister Linda Gardella, brothers, Jerry and Tom McIntosh.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Middletown United Methodist Church followed by his celebration of life at noon.

In honor of Bob, expressions of sympathy may be made to The Lighthouse Community Center, 5312 Shepherdsville Road, Louisville, KY, 40228. Funeral arrangements are through Pearson Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home 12900 Shelbyville Road.
