Cyril Heim Obituary
Mr. Heim was born in St. Matthews, KY to George and Alma Heim on May 27, 1920.He attended DuPont Manual High School where he lettered in baseball and was a retired carpenter with Plaza Centers. He was an Artillery- Forward Observer with the 45th Division Army veteran serving during World War II where he received a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts and was a member of the VFW 1131 Post Middletown.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Ethel Doyle Heim.
He is survived by daughter, Susan Heim; sons, George Heim (Mary) of Chicago, IL and Joe Heim (Holly) of Thackerville, OK, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Ratterman's Funeral Home 3711 Lexington Road with burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may go to DAV or Sister Visitors.

Dear Joe and Family -- I am very sorry and deeply saddened by the loss of your dear father. Having recently lost my own father, I am well aware of the tremendous void it creates in our lives. Please know you are being held close in thought and prayer during this painfully difficult time. Heartfelt condolences and many hugs for all.
