WOOSLEY, PHILLIP GENE, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 25, 2013.

His wife and daughter were at his side at St. Mary's & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY. Phillip was born March 13, 1943 in Caneyville, KY to the late Albert Woosley and Augusta Fraim Woosley Whitehead and stepfather Damon Whitehead. He attended Caneyville High School and played basketball on the Caneyville Purple Flash team, which went to the KY Sweet 16 State Championship in 1962. In addition to his work at school, he also owned his own business, Woosley's Antenna & Electric. He served Grayson County for over 40 years as a licensed electrician, wired homes, installed satellites and put up antennas. After retiring from the County School system, he became Maintenance Supervisor for Homeland, Inc. where he and his crew served over 4,000 apartments throughout the state.
