CLARKSVILLE - Abell, Sue, 64, passed away at Clark Memorial Hospital, January 29, 2013.
She was born July 28, 1948 in Elizabethtown, IL, to her late parents, Benjamin and Nora Mae Hurford. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Rita Scarbrough.
She was a member of Charlestown Road Southern Baptist Church in New Albany.
Survivors include: husband, Wes Abell; son, Jeremy Ryan Abell (Wendy Noel); daughter, Carrie Ellen Abell; grandchildren, James Robert Burden, Sean Burden and Chandler Abell; sisters, Debbie Ploetz (Larry) and Kathleen Hurford; and brothers, Michael Hurford, Terry Hurford (Ginger), Jesse Hurford (Diane) and Tommy Hurford (Diana) .
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN. Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, IN.

Very sorry to read about Sue's death. My thoughts are with Wes and family. Sue was always such a sweet person to be around when we worked together at SBTS.
