BLANKENSHIP, JERRY S., 69, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Baptist Hospital East with his family and friends by his side.
He retired Human Resource Manager of Ashland Oil, a member of the ELKS, a Free Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, a KOSAIR Shriner, and a member of Louisville 131 Royal Order of the Jester, a Kentucky Colonel, an avid model train collector and a member of Middletown Christian Church.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Patty D. Craft Blankenship; sister-in-law, Evelyn Smith (Doug); brother-in-law, Dr. Gary Craft (Martha); nieces, Michelle Duling (Charlie), Heather Craft-Algahtani (Atif) and he also leaves behind "Pippa".
His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday February 25th, 2013 at Ratterman's 12900 Shelbyville Rd. East Louisville. Visitation will be 2 - 5 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be given to Middletown Christian Church or The KOSAIR Shrine .
