SCOTTSBURG - Bennett, David M., 69, died on Saturday, July 27, 2013.

He was retired from Shadowood Golf Course in Seymour, IN, also worked for the NASA Space Program in the 1960s, former co-owner of the old Bennett Printing Company, former manager of the Westwood Golf Course and Knob Hill Golf Course and also worked at Sunrise Golf Course. David was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Indiana Golf Association.

Survivors include his wife, Norma (Allen) Bennett; a son, Christopher Bennett; a daughter, Patricia A. David; two brothers, George D. (Darlene) and Stephen L. Bennett; three grandchildren, Michelle Payton, Eric and Susan David; three great grandchildren, Zachary, Josh and Taylor and one great great granddaughter, Savannah.

Funeral service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Scottsburg Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
