JEFFERSONVILLE - Thompson, Charles "Chuck" Osmund Tweito, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013.

Chuck, our beloved husband, brother, and father, has finally went home after a long battle with pulmonary disease. Chuck was an owner-operator for 20 years leased to Wilson Transportation. Prior to this he managed many hotels and restaurant training schools.

He was preceded in death by his father, Irving Tilden Thompson; mother, Mabel Claribelle Thompson; two brothers, Fred Thompson and George Thompson; and his son, Chad Taylor.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shelia Thompson; sister, Naomi Towson (Arthur) of Jacksonville, FL; two daughters, Beth Rosenberg of Iowa and Kristie Thompson of Indiana; eight grandchildren, including Tyler Thompson, who helped care for his grandfather for five years; two nieces, two nephews and many other extended family members.

Cremation was chosen and services will be held at a later date. Scott Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
