GRIFFIN, JAMES "JIM" R., 84 of south Louisville passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014.

He was a retired electrical engineer for GE, an Air Force Korean conflict veteran, a member of South Park Country Club, Iroquois Presbyterian Church and Masonic Lodge Daylight #760.

Jim was known for sharing his love of music with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Peggy J. Griffin.

Survivors include one son Robert Griffin, daughter Kristi Hoar (Michael), and two grandchildren Melanie Hoar and Stephanie Zinser (Jordan).

Funeral service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
