The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thanks to the staff at Westport Place and the members of Bob's Hosparus team for their wonderful care. One of the most special memories happened at Westport Place when, with the help of the Hosparus chaplain, Bob and Shirley renewed their vows on their 60th wedding anniversary. Beginning a prayer, the chaplain asked what was most important to pray for; without hesitation, Bob answered "My family." A memorial service will be held at St. Leonard Catholic Church on Thursday March 13, 2014 at 10 a.m. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Ratterman's on Lexington Road (St. Matthews).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hosparus or the
