Norma Case Obituary
80, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014.
She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church in Fairdale, KY. Was a member of the Cursillo 89th Movement and a Kentucky Colonel. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, dancing and was an avid UK Wildcat fan. She was truly loved by everyone and always had a smile on her face. Doted on her grandchildren and her great grandson.
Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Case and her parents, Florence and Herman DeZarn.
She is survived by her son, Rick Smith, grandchildren, Stephanie, Valarie, Brittany and Ryan, great-grandchild, Cameron. Siblings, Herman DeZarn (his wife and Norma's best friend, Doris), and Patsy Wooten, brother-in-law, Fred R. Wooten.
A celebration of Norma's life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 and after 12 noon the day of the funeral.

Oh Norma. Norma was a friend of mine when we worked at Sears in the 90's. What a special lady. I was searching for some folks from back then and came across Norma's obit. Rest in peace, dear lady. The memories from then stay with me today.

Ricky, We are all really going to miss your mom, especially you. You truly were always her pride and joy and she thought you could do anything. She was right to have so much faith in you. You are a fantastic man and I am proud that you are my cousin. I love you.
