As an adult, I still recall my experiences in Mrs. Smith's 3rd grade class just like it was yesterday. She was my favorite teacher! She was an exceptional educator and held high expectations for her students at all times. She challenged me to reach my full academic potential even when I was unsure of myself at times. She believed in all of her students, and it was evident that she was passionate about being an educator. When I grew up, I knew I wanted to enter the education field and have a long lasting positive impact on so many young lives just like Mrs. Smith!
