Hilda Walton Obituary
Hilda Christine Walton, 88 of Falls of Rough, tragically passed away on April 23, 2016.
She was the owner of HC Walton Tax Service and was a KY Colonel.
Hilda is preceded in death by her husband, Cary Walton and their son, Franklin David Walton
She is survived by her grandsons, Roger L. Walton and James K. Walton.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be conducted on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 12pm in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 12-8pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 and after 9am the day of the funeral.

I met Chris at a Letchfield laundromat...She was quite a character. I really enjoyed talking to her. Later I ran into her at other places, couple of times. Also she came by here to look at a relative van for sale....we talked more than.....
we talked then and she she shared photos of herseif and her animals....
we were both from Louisville
she led quite an intersting and hard life...but she was a real trooper...I mentioned to her she ought to have written a book about her life....
Glad to have met Chris... rest in peace wonderful lady....

We met Hilda several years while passing her home going to our camp at rough river I finally stopped to ask her name and she told me people called her Cinderella . From there I stopped to chat with her on Friday afternoon just about every weekend. She was a very nice lady to me and my family. I will sadly miss her
