I only knew Dave for a few years, concerning mostly health care reform and advocacy, but we found that he was concerned about his community and that he was sensitive to what was affecting people. He shared his valuable experience as a medical administrator to enlighten us of the serious impact of which the nation's health system was hurting people. It is not often that people in his position are as interested and served like he did. He was a rare human. We will miss him and remember him.

Dave, just knew you a short time and not all that well. But what I did know was a kind man whose consideration for his fellow man far exceeded his own. God bless you and your family.

What we are feeling now is hard to put into words. Dave was such a kind soul, always looking out for others, and never complaining. He was a great husband to Nancy, a loving father to Chris and Kathleen, and a loving brother to Rob. He was exceptionally good with coaching special needs children and adults in Special Olympics Softball and Basketball for many years. We will miss him dearly. Our love and support will be always be there for you.

Dear Nancy and Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and father Dave. Dave had a great character and great compassion and thoughtfulness of others. He was always there to volunteer at the Louisville Adaptive Rowing club. He will be greatly missed. I will be praying for you and your family.
Prayers and Love,
