NORTH ANDOVER, MA -- Marjorie (Tilton) Bolger, 91, of North Andover, MA, formerly of Westford, MA, died on November 27, 2013 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
Born in Pittsfield, ME on September 27, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Bernice (Twitchell) Tilton and a graduate of Maine Central Institute. In 1948, she moved to Washington, DC and worked in the Retirement Division of the US Post Office where she met her future husband, William F. Bolger. During their 40-year marriage, she was a homemaker in Gorham, ME, Westford, MA, and Alexandria, VA. She is survived by two daughters, Catherine A. Bolger of Palo Alto, CA, and Margaret J. Bolger of Milford, CT, a sister Marilyn Kay Newman of Portland, ME, a brother, Wayne Tilton of Rancho San Diego, CA, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings Geraldine Reed of Pittsfield, ME, Carlton Tilton of La Mesa, CA, Leone Tilton of Pittsfield, ME, Merlon Tilton of Pittsfield, ME, and Gladwin Tilton of Fredericksburg, VA.

A memorial mass will be held on December 7th at 11 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford, MA. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tewksbury.
