Raymond 'Ray' Boucher
Lowell, longtime resident; 93

LOWELL -- Raymond J. Boucher, died on January 30, 2013, after living a long and healthy life. He resided at Willow Manor Nursing Home for the past year. He previously lived at Jaycee Place, Lowell, having moved there from his home on Eustis Ave. in the Centralville section of Lowell.

He was born in Dracut on September 19, 1919, the son of Nestor and Angeline (Plourde) Boucher. He was married to Therese (Cyr) Boucher, who died in 1994. He was one of eight children - three sisters, Claire Chenell, Irene Cyr, Florence Eliacopoulos and four brothers, Leo, Robert, Albert and Wilfred Boucher, all who have pre-deceased him. He began his work life in the Lowell Mills at age 13 to help support his family.

After serving in the Army for four years during the 2nd World War, he worked at WH Bagshaw Co., Nashua for more than 40 years.

He leaves two sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

BOUCHER -- Committal Services will be held on be Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Noon in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his name to: Compassionate Care Hospice, 800 West Cummings Pk., Suite 3400, Woburn, MA 01801. I lived in his home on Eustis Ave with my parents Leo and Doris for two years prior to Ray and Therese's purchase. I enjoyed them both. He would be my mother's cousin. My condolence's to the remaining family members.
