Thomas E. Maggiacomo Longtime resident of Chelmsford; 78 CHELMSFORD -- Thomas E. Maggiacomo, 78, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, died unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor G. (Mayall) Maggiacomo, with whom he enjoyed 54 years of marriage prior to her death in 2012. He was born in Cranston, RI on December 26, 1936, and was a son of the late Louis and Loretta (Murphy) Maggiacomo. Thomas was a graduate of Somerset High School and University of Connecticut. Thomas was employed for many years as a microwave engineer by GTE Corporation in Lexington. He then went on to work for M.I.T. Lincoln Labs in Lexington, M.I.T. in Cambridge, and Bentley College in Waltham. During his retirement, he tended bar at the Radisson Hotel in Chelmsford. Thomas enjoyed bowling, playing golf, photography, and traveling. He also enjoyed spending time with his second family at the Princeton Station in N. Chelmsford. He is survived by his three sons, Jeffrey Maggiacomo of Billerica, Brian Maggiacomo of North Chelmsford, and Glenn Maggiacomo and his wife, Linda of Dracut; three grandchildren, Jessica, Kristen, and Corey Bellemare; and several nieces, nephews, and close friends. He was the brother of the late Henry Maggiacomo and Joyce Marland. MAGGIACOMO -- THOMAS. At his request, there will be no services. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. Marchand, Clementine "Clemmie"  
Clementine 'Clemmie' Marchand Lifelong resident of Chelmsford; 90 CHELMSFORD -- Clementine "Clemmie" Marchand, 90, a lifelong resident of Chelmsford, passed away on January 24, 2015. She was surrounded by her family at her time of death. She was born in East Chelmsford on May 26, 1924, a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Teixeira) Ferreira, who immigrated from the Madeira Islands, Portugal. She graduated from Chelmsford High School in 1942. She was the widow of Albert A. Marchand who passed away in 1996. Clemmie was active in so many ways as a 27 year employee at Marshalls, a communicant at St. Mary's Church, an avid seamstress and knitter, and a proud volunteer at the Chelmsford Senior Center Supportive Day Care for many years. She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Young and her husband, Roger and her devoted son, Richard Marchand and his wife, Jennifer. She was a loving grandmother to Heather (Young) Monte and husband, Andrew, Robin (Young) Bliss and husband, Caleb, Jeffrey Marchand and wife, Rhonda, and Jason Marchand and wife, Christine. In addition, she leaves five great-grandchildren, Benjamin Marchand, Braeden Monte, Bryce Monte, Evelyn Bliss, and Katherine Marchand. She also leaves many nieces and nephews for whom she cared deeply and they all called her, Aunt Clemmie. She is pre-deceased by her brothers, Joseph Ferreira and Charles Ferreira, and her sister, Mary (Ferreira) Garcia. MARCHAND -- Visiting hours will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD on Wednesday from 4 until 7 pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 o'clock at St. Mary Church, 25 North Road, CHELMSFORD. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Chelmsford. Louise Ann (Friend) Maxwell 1965-2015 LOWELL -- Louise Ann (Friend) Maxwell, 49, a resident of Lowell and former Dracut resident, died unexpectedly on Friday January 23, 2015 following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Dwight D. Maxwell of Lowell. Born in Lowell on February 26, 1965, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth A. Friend and of Barbara A. (Fayton) Friend of Dracut, who survives her. Lou Ann was employed as a Quality Assurance Technician by 3M Touch Systems in Haverhill. In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves a daughter, Cassandra Friend of Dracut; a sister, Valerie A. Taylor and her husband, Kevin of ME; her nieces and nephews, Kristina Greaves, Paul Friend, Joshua Yokell, Randy Taylor and Michael Taylor; a grandnephew, Evan Friend; her father in law, Dwight F. Maxwell of Wilmington; several brothers and sisters-in-law and many dear friends. She was the sister of the late Lisa M. Greaves. Bryan D. McAndrew of Manchester, NH formerly of North Chelmsford MANCHESTER, NH -- Bryan D. McAndrew, 70, of Manchester, NH formerly of North Chelmsford died peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 22, 2015. He was married to Anne L. (Higgins) McAndrew with whom he shared 43 years. Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late David F. and Priscilla McAndrew. He graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1962 and attended the University of Lowell. Bryan worked as a Salesman at Reynolds RV of Kingston, NH for many years before retiring in 2008. He was a former member of the N. Chelmsford Congregational Evangelical church. He was a life member of the Chelmsford Elks. He was an avid bowler and sports fan. Bryan also was a manager at the Nashua Bowl-O-Mat. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, David Brennan and his wife Cathie of Pepperell, MA, Derek McAndrew and his wife Marie of Fitchburg, MA, and Daniel McAndrew of Minot, ND; two daughters, Kimberly McAndrew of Hollis, NH and Kelly McAndrew of Manchester, NH; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Pamela Brennan who died March 22, 1993 and Denise Brennan who died July 13, 2010 both of Lynn. Bryan was also the brother of the late, Kevin McAndrew of Tyngsboro, David F. McAndrew Jr. of N. Chelmsford and Judith Ozdemirer of Chesire, CT MCANDREW -- Bryan D. McAndrew, 70, of Manchester, NH formerly of North Chelmsford died Jan. 22, 2015. Visiting hours Thurs from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 6:00 P.M. in the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD, MA. Cremation at the Merrimack Crematory, Merrimack, NH. Edna P. (Hann) McNamara 1931 - 2015 LOWELL -- Edna P. (Hann) McNamara, 83, a longtime Lowell resident, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015, following a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Donald J. McNamara. Born in Athol, MA on February 21, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John J. Hann and Rosella (Woods) Hann. For many years in her youth, Edna was an avid bowler and golfer. She enjoyed seasonal camping in many campgrounds all over Southern New Hampshire. Edna loved to read, many different genres, including horror and mystery. She also looked forward to watching her favorite television programs particularly Jeopardy and The Walking Dead. Edna is survived by her two sons, Daniel J. McNamara and his fiancée, Gayle Camara of Lowell, and Michael J. McNamara of Lowell; four grandchildren, Logan, Seth, Cody and Cayla; and a sister-in-law, Agnes Pierce of MA. McNAMARA -- Relatives and friends are invited to her Life Celebration to be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 3 PM to 6 PM in the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell. Hazel M. Mosher Member of the First Baptist Church of Tewksbury ANDOVER -- Hazel M. (Hardy) Mosher, age 97, a lifelong Andover resident, passed away at the Wingate of Andover on Saturday, January 24, 2015. She was the beloved wife of William Mosher, who passed away on April 30, 1981. Born in Andover on May 12, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Frederick C. Hardy and Marion E. (Cate) Hardy. Hazel attended Andover schools and graduated from the former Punchard High School. She was a member of several church groups including the Faithful Workers and Bible Study Groups. Hazel was a member of the Foster Parents Association and was a foster mother to many children. She enjoyed gardening and canning the fruits of her labor. The family wishes to thank the Staff of Wingate of Andover for the care Hazel received. Survivors include, three sons, William Mosher of South Carolina, Robert Mosher of Florida, Jonathan Mosher of Revere; three daughters, Sarah Barnaby and Debbie Barr both of Methuen, Elizabeth Connernney of NY; one brother, F. Douglas Hardy of South Carolina; one sister, Shirley MacLeish of Andover; a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Miller of N. Andover; also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Hazel was the mother of the late James Mosher and Alice Dixon. MOSHER -- Hazel M. (Hardy). Stanley M. Motyka, Sr. Loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother BILLERICA -- Stanley M. Motyka, Sr., 87, of Billerica, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015, at the Life Care of Merrimack Valley Nursing Home. Stanley was born June 10, 1927, in Wilbraham, the son of the late John and Caroline (Nowak) Motyka. He was raised in Wilbraham and educated in local schools and lived in Ludlow before moving to Billerica 48 years ago and had been a member of St. Theresa Church. Stanley enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving his country during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946. He was always proud of his time in the Navy, serving his country. He was the Chief Court Officer, Sergeant-At-Arms, in the House of Representatives for 28 years before his retirement in 1990. He loved horses and enjoyed Thoroughbred racing and was the owner and trainer of "Return Impulse" early in life and "Jelly Babie" during his early retirement years. As one of 13 children, Stanley leaves his sister, Celia Ogorzalek and was preceded by his 12 siblings, Leo, Emil, Mitchell, Frank, Andy, Rudy, Eddie, Wanda, Nellie, Vera and Millie. He preceded his wife, Barbara (Ewing), whom he had shared 60 years of marriage. He is survived by his son, Stanley Motyka Jr. and his wife, Beth of Ossian, IN; and his two daughters, Carol Otto and her husband, Greg of Lyndeborough, NH, and Virginia Hankard and her husband, Gary of Dunstable, MA. He is also survived by three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. MOTYKA -- Of Billerica, Jan. 22, Stanley M. Dolores E. Mullin Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Retired Purity Supreme Accountant LOWELL -- Dolores Edith (Fuller) Mullin, 77, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 with her loving family at her side. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Mullin, Jr. who died on September 12, 1993. Dolores was born in Lowell on February 21, 1937, a daughter of the late Gerald A. and Ethel (Burke) Fuller. She was a graduate of St. Margaret's Grammar School and Keith Hall. Dolores married Lawrence Mullin, Jr. on May 30, 1959, and together they celebrated 34 years of marriage. She was a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart Church. Dolores was employed for over 20 years at Purity Supreme in Billerica. Her career positions included being responsible for Little Peach, Purity Supreme, and Heartland Drug Stores, working in the Accounting Department. Mrs. Mullin's expertise being gross profit results for the supermarket chain. Dolores was most proud of her family; her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She devoted her life to spending time with them. Dolores was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife and mother. Mrs. Mullin is survived by her children, Elizabeth Saunders and her husband Bradford of Danville, NH, Susan Bergeron of Lowell, Lawrence Mullin, III and his wife Nancy of Lowell, Michael Mullin of Lowell, John Mullin and his wife Susan of Merrimac, MA; 14 grandchildren, Adam Ruszczyk and his wife Leila, Stephanie Ruszczyk, Andrew Ruszczyk, Christopher Mullin and his wife Ashley, Brian Mullin, Kathleen Mullin, Joshua Picanso, John Mullin, Nicholas Mullin, Sean Mullin, Jessica Lord, Nichole Bergeron, Andrew Bergeron, and Emily Mullin; 6 great-grandchildren; her sister, Geraldine McMichael and her husband Richard; several nieces and nephews including Larry and Manya Callahan, and a dear friend, Janet Gath. Mrs. Mullin was the mother of the late David Mullin and sister of the late Teresa Fuller and Daniel Fuller.
