Friedrich, Irene  
Irene Friedrich Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; 63 AYER -- Irene (Streigle) Friedrich, 63, of Ayer, died Monday, May 25, 2015, at her residence, after a brief and brave battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. Irene was born July 6, 1951 in Karlsruhe, Germany, the daughter of Joseph F. and Hannelore I. (Doerflinger) Streigle. She resided in Ayer for most of her life and graduated from Ayer High School Class of 1970. She was employed at ENSR in Littleton as an accounts payable specialist. Irene always had a smile on her face, was very active and loved life. She enjoyed Caribbean cruises, traveling, and long rides with her husband in her T-Bird convertible. She was an avid walker and loved spending time with her friends on the rail trail. She also loved spending the whole day shopping with her daughter only to buy nothing. She leaves her loving husband of 26 years, Robert D. Friedrich; a daughter, Krystal L. (Salter) Spaulding of Ayer; a daughter, Robin L. Friedrich and her partner, Kelly Santimaw of West Boylston; a brother, Walter F. Streigle and his wife, Claudette of Norwich, Connecticut; a brother in-law, Zigamond Borowik and his wife, Donuta of Succasunna, New Jersey; and a granddaughter, Amanda S. White of Norfolk, Virginia. She also leaves several nieces, nephews; as well as many loving family and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Beate (Doerflinger) Borowik in 1979, and her son-in-law, Richard R. Spaulding Jr., in 2010. Per Irene's wishes there will be no services. Her wish was for family and friends to celebrate her life with an old-fashioned pig roast at her home at a later date, which was a favorite family pastime that she cherished. The T.J. Gray, Michael  
Michael Gray Formerly of Dracut, MA; 64 BLUFFTON, SC -- Michael Gray, 64 of Bluffton, SC, passed away May 23, 2015. He was born in Lowell, MA on May 12, 1951 and graduated from Dracut High School in 1969. He was the son of Olga (Augustynowicz) (Gray) Kuflik, and husband, Sam, of Las Vegas, NV. Michael was predeceased by his father, Irving (Buddy) Gray, and his brother, Steven Gray. He is survived by his loving wife, Sloan Gray; four children, Jeffrey and Beth Gray, both of Greenville, SC, Noelle and her husband, Chris Ulrich of PA, and Christopher of Bluffton, SC; his sister, Kathleen Gray (Bricker) Verrone and husband, Michael of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren, Kendall and Deven Gray, Caden, Connor and Cameron Martz and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves his beloved pet "Ms. Zelda" who was his pride and joy. His cremation was on May 28th. Any expressions of sympathy may be made to any Animal Foundation in his memory. Merrillyn Hauman of Scituate, ties to Tyngsboro, MA Merrillyn (Papen) Hauman, 83, of Scituate, passed away on May 21, 2015. Devoted wife of the late Guy Hauman. Loving mother of Kirk and his wife, Nancy, and cherished grandmother of Peter and Melissa Hauman, all of Tyngsboro. Beloved sister of Betsy Sargent and her husband, Stuart of FL, Richard Papen and his wife, Anne of NH, and Marie Sheen of FL. Also survived by several nephews. Merrillyn was born and raised in Lexington. She attended Boston University. Merrillyn was a great cook, and enjoyed traveling and playing golf. She was a volunteer with South Shore Elder Service's Caregiver Support Group. Please join family and friends on Sunday, May 31st at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd., Scituate at 2 P.M. for visitation followed by a funeral service at 4 P.M. Mary M. Heckman Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister BILLERICA -- Mary M. (McDonough) Heckman, age 77, beloved wife of David W. Heckman, died Wednesday at Lexington Healthcare, after a long illness. She was born in Medford, November 29, 1937, a daughter of the late Bartholemew J. and Margaret L. (Foley) McDonough, and lived in Woburn and Lowell before moving to Billerica over 40 years ago. Mrs. Heckman graduated from St. Charles Catholic School in Woburn, and was a Home Health Aide for the Greater Lowell VNA for over 10 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, John Bernard Jr. of Billerica, John Heckman and his wife, Linda of VA, Robert Heckman and his wife, Mary of Leominster, and Joshua Heckman and his wife, Colleen of Billerica; three daughters, Paula Morris of Atkinson, NH, Maryann Giordano and her husband, Michael of Billerica, and Lori Maguire of Lowell; one brother, Bart James McDonough of Brighton; two sisters, Julie Hayes of Brockton, and Loretta Willett of Woburn; as well as 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Audrey Heckman, and sister of the late Robert McDonough. HECKMAN - Of Billerica, formerly of Woburn, May 27, Mary M. (McDonough) Heckman. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Hodge, Charles E.  
Charles E. Hodge Lived in Westford, Wang Labs retiree; 91 PEPPERELL -- Charles E. Hodge, age 91, passed away on Saturday morning, May 23, 2015, at Apple Valley Center in Ayer, after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Jeannine (Roux) Hodge who passed away in July, 2010. He was born in Lowell on July 28th, 1923, a son of the late William and Christina (Condon) Hodge. Charles attended Lowell schools and graduated from Lowell High School Class of 1941. He was a resident of Pepperell for the past 20 years, and was formerly a longtime resident of Forge Village for 43 years. Prior to his retirement in 1986, he was an accounting clerk with Wang Labs for many years. Charles was a life member of the Franco American Club in Westford and a patron of the Pepperell Senior Center. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox, and enjoyed music, dancing and puzzle making. He is survived by his children, Cynthia Foye and her husband, Robert of Antioch, TN, Ed Hodge of Seattle, WA, Donna Franzek and her husband, Dana of Pepperell and Gary Hodge of Shirley, MA; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John, Warren and William Hodge, Mary Villineau, Margaret Sullivan, and Helen Riley. HODGE -- At his request, there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, May 30 at 11 o'clock at St. Catherine Cemetery in Westford. Doris "Chou" G. LaBrecque Longtime waitress at former Cousins Bakery & Restaurant PELHAM, NH -- Doris "Chou" LaBrecque, of Pelham NH, formally of Lowell, MA passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Monday, May 25, 2015. She was 90. She was the youngest daughter of the late Denerie and Anna (Major) Ducharme. She is predeceased by her brothers Rudolph "Tuffy", Woodrow "Bibie", Roger, and Harvey "Pete" and her sister Evangeline "Nin" Verville. She is also predeceased by her first husband Arthur LaBrecque, second husband Raymond LaBrecque, and longtime close friend Paul "Butch" Ouellette. She is survived by her three sons Robert and his wife Paula of Stony Point, NY, Ronald and his wife Dianne of Dracut, MA, and Roger and his partner Shireen of Sun Valley, CA; two grandchildren Jeffrey and his wife Kimberly, and Adam and his partner Erica; four great-grandchildren Brandon, Matthew, Tia Shay, and Cameron. Chou graduated Lowell High School and worked as a waitress most of her life, last working at the former Cousin's Bakery & Restaurant in Pelham, NH. She was an avid church goer to St. Patrick's Church in Pelham, NH. Among her interests she loved cats especially tigers, travelling, and children. Chou was a strong-willed woman and had a wonderful personality that made people smile. She always had candy in her pocket to give to children and people whom she met bringing out joyful thanks. She lit up a room with her personality and will forever be missed. LABRECQUE -- It being her wish calling hours are omitted. Her Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick's Church, 12 Main St., Pelham. Burial will be private. Lemire, Barbara  
Barbara Lemire of Lowell; 80 LOWELL -- Barbara (Lyons) Lemire, 80, of Lowell, passed away peacefully, Monday, May 25, 2015, at Wingate of Belvidere with her daughter at her side. She was the beloved widow of the late Walter J. Lemire who died March 2014. A daughter of the late Arthur and the late Anna (McHugh) Lyons, she was born June 24, 1934, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools, graduating from Lowell High School, where she was voted Victory Queen in her Senior Year. Barbara made her lifelong home in Lowell, and was a member of the former Sacred Heart parish, and was a communicant of Holy Family Parish as well as a member of the League of Catholic Women. She was also a member of the Pioneers and was a friend of the Sisters of the Monastery of Poor Clare in Andover. She especially enjoyed time spent with family and friends, traveling the country with her husband, and walking along the Lowell Boulevard. She worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone Company of Lowell for almost thirty years prior to her retirement. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne M. Lemire and Russell Belley of Lowell; her grandchildren, Matthew W. Hrinchuk of Lowell, Brian W. Hrinchuk and his girlfriend, Amanda Loiselle, of Dracut and Jenna P. Hrinchuk and her fiance, Kimsorng Mao of Dracut; her great- grandchildren, Nathan Matthew Kim-Hrinchuk of Lowell, Sophia Suzanne Mao of Dracut and Rosabelle Barbara Hrinchuk of Dracut, and Kameron Walter Mao of Dracut; and her cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family would also like express their love to the wonderful staff at Wingate for all the help and support throughout this difficult time. She was also the mother of the late Martin P.
