Jeanette 'Jean' Y. (Tetreault) Fournier of Chelmsford CHELMSFORD -- Jeannette "Jean" Y. (Tetreault) Fournier, 94, of Chelmsford, MA, died Friday, April 11, 2014, at the Northwood Rehabilitation Center in Lowell, MA. She was married for 73 years to the late Edward L. Fournier Sr. who died January 25, 2013. Born in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ovila and Corine Tetreault. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Girl High School with the class of 1935. She was the captain of the Garde Sacre Coere. Jean was employed as a hairdresser with the Orchard Beauty Salon. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church of Chelmsford. Jean was a member of the Open Gate Garden Club in Chelmsford, where she was the club's photographer, the Chelmsford Senior Citizens and St. Mary's Blessed Virgin Sodality. She is survived by two sons, Edward L and his wife, Carol (Doran) Fournier of Westford, and Richard L. Fournier of New Harbor, ME; four grandchildren, Elaine Fournier of Westford, Cheryl Fournier of Lowell, Craig and his wife, Denise Fournier of Hudson, NH, and David and his wife, JoAnne Fournier of Westford; and seven great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Victor Tetreault, Ernest Tetreault, Carina Beland, Irene Bolduc and Sr. Theresa St. Ovila of the Gray Nuns of the Cross in Canada. FOURNIER -- Jeannette "Jean" Y. Rita E. Hadley Longtime resident of Chelmsford; 65 CHELMSFORD -- Rita Elin (Fewtrell) Hadley, 65, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Massachusetts General Hospital, after a brief illness. She is survived by her loving husband, Steven B. "Bump" Hadley. Rita was born in Chelsea on April 22, 1948. After many years in the electronics industry, at the age of 60, Rita went back to school at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and achieved her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. Upon earning her degree, she began working as a Patient Advocate at Lahey Health Behavioral Services. Rita loved animals and trips to Mohegan Sun. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, especially to Ireland as she was very proud of her Irish heritage. Above all else, she most enjoyed spending time with her family. She liked to explore new places and ideas with her grandchildren. In addition to her loving husband, Rita is survived by her daughter, Tracy Paquette of Chelmsford; and her three grandchildren; Ricky, Kate, and Jack Paquette. She is also survived by two sisters; Bonnie Fewtrell of Esperance, NY, and Diane Savage of Lowell; one brother, Robert Fewtrell and his wife, Sokunthea of Lowell; and her special friends, Gail Barrile and Caroline Smithers, and her darling cats; Sammy and Fred. She was predeceased by her infant son, John "Jack" Paquette, and her sister, Judy Carrigan. HADLEY -- RITA ELIN (FEWTRELL). Eileen (Wall) Hood of Chelmsford CHELMSFORD -- Eileen (Wall) Hood, 79, of Chelmsford, MA, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at her home, after a brief illness. She was married to Burt Hood with whom she celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on August 8, 2013. Born in Arlington, MA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Wall. She graduated from Arlington High School with the class of 1952 and attended the University of Lowell. She retired as a Head Teller from Northern Bank & Trust in Chelmsford in 1994. Eileen raised three beautiful children. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Chelmsford. Eileen was an active member of the Alpine Square Dancing Club, where she held many positions including president. She was an avid bowler, a member of the Alpine Bowling League and a winner of many bowling trophies. Most of all, Eileen cherished spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed visiting her family in Ireland and taking cruises. She was an ardent Red Sox fan and a winter resident of Naples, FL. Besides her husband, Burt, she is survived by two sons, Michael and his wife, Darcy Hood of Eastham, MA, and Richard Hood of Medford, MA; one daughter, Kathleen Garvey of Chelmsford; one sister, Mary and her husband, Sal Marotta of Lynnfield, MA; one brother, Stephen Wall of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Elaine, Eryn, Ellie, Molly, Robert and Greg; one great-grandson, Owen; and many nieces and nephews. Marian R. (Vincent) Irwin RN of Chelmsford, formerly of Arlington CHELMSFORD -- Marian R. (Vincent) Irwin, of Chelmsford, MA, died early Saturday morning, April 12, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness. She was married to Edward L. Irwin with whom she would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on September 7, 2014. Born in Cambridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late Richard W. and Ruth Vincent. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1962 and from Mt. Auburn School of Nursing in 1965. She proudly served with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Marian worked as a nurse for the Lahey Clinic of Burlington, MA, retiring in 1990. She had previously worked for Symes Hospital of Arlington, MA. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Chelmsford. Marian loved her dog, Scruffy. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Owens of Chelmsford, and Jennifer and husband, Norman Hartigan of Natick, MA; two sons, Charles Owens of Louisville, KY, and James Owens of SD; a sister, Elaine and her husband Michael Brennan of Arlington, MA; two brothers, Richard and his wife Nancy Vincent of Arlington, MA and Donald Vincent of Chelmsford; four grandchildren, Matthew Lubao, Devon Hartigan, Jenna Owens and Chloe Miller-Owens; and many loving nieces and nephews. Maureen Tucke Johnson Raised in N. Chelmsford, MA; 69 MORGANTON, NC -- Maureen Tucke Johnson, 69, born in Concord, NH and raised in N. Chelmsford, MA, died on August 25, 2013 in Morganton, NC. Maureen was the daughter of the late John Parker Tucke and Mildred Marie Finch. Growing up in both NH and MA, she became a registered nurse in NH, and earned her master's degree in psychiatric nursing from Boston College. She served as the Director of Nursing for the state of Connecticut, and taught at the Foxboro School of Nursing. In the late 1970's, she moved to Morganton, NC with her late husband, Dr. James Johnson, and founded her own health food business: Nature's Bounty. Over the course of 35 years, she became actively involved in the local community and ministered to thousands of residents. Maureen was dearly beloved by family and friends, and was blessed with a loving, compassionate and generous spirit. She gave unselfishly to promote the welfare of others while surrendering self-serving interests. She truly epitomized the love of Jesus Christ. She is survived by her brother, John Tucke; a step-daughter, Lynne Johnson of Vancouver, BC; one nephew and three nieces; in addition to cousins and extended family members. Christoforos Keratsopoulos of Lowell; 85 LOWELL -- Mr. Christoforos Keratsopoulos, 85, passed away on Tuesday April 8th. He was born on April 25, 1928 in Polylakos, Kozani, Greece a son of the late Athanasios and Thomai (Karapandos) Keratsopoulos. Christoforos worked in Athens, Greece for the Royal Family as a secret service agent helping to protect their family for many years. He immigrated to the United States in 1967 settling in Lowell. In Lowell, he worked various jobs over the years in the shoe and construction industry. He was a member of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church of Lowell. He leaves behind his wife of sixty two years, Margarita (Goutsis) Keratsopoulos, two daughters, Athena Doulamis and her husband Nikolaos, Catherine Keratsopoulos all of Lowell; two grandchildren, Theodora and Kristina Doulamis, a nephew, John Keratsopoulos of Lowell, a sister, Peristera Briazas; a brother, Aristidis Keratsopoulos both of Greece; and many nieces, nephews, from the United States and Greece. KERATSOPOULOS -- Relatives and friends will be received at the M.R.LAURIN FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Thursday, April 10th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Laura M. Landry Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister; 77 LOWELL -- Mrs. Laura M. (Jacobs) Landry, age 77, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Monday, April 14, 2014, at Genesis Westford House, following a long illness. For 52 years, she was the beloved wife of Robert J. Landry. She was born in Lowell on January 6, 1937, daughter of the late Charles & Rose (Gauvreau) Jacobs. She was dedicated to raising her family. She very much enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking and camping, knitting and going to bingo. She and her husband were parishioners of the former Notre Dame DeLourdes Church, and more recently St. Margaret's Church in Lowell. Besides her husband, she is survived her six children, Robert Landry, Jr. and his wife, Cynthia of Michigan, Laura Jean Griffin and her husband, John of Lawrence, Mark Landry of Lowell, Paul Landry and his wife, Kim of Boxborough, Cheryl Burnett and her husband, Mikeal of Lowell, and David Landry and his wife, Michelle of Pelham, NH; one brother, Francis Jacobs of Lowell; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. Maureen V. LeGault of Chelmsford; 92 CHELMSFORD -- Mrs. Maureen V. (Evans) LeGault, age 92, of Chelmsford, and formerly of Nahant and Lynn, died on Thursday, April 10, 2014. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary J. (Hogan) Evans. She grew up in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School, Class of 1939. She then lived in Nahant for most of her life. Maureen was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Nahant and was a member of Our Lady's Sodality. She was also a secretary at the Nahant Country Club, a member of the Nahant Garden Club, and a member of the Lynn English High School Reunion Committee. She leaves three sons, Ronald LeGault and his wife, Peg McCormick of Denver, CO, Kevin LeGault and his wife, Nasrin of Lowell, and Joel LeGault and his wife, Doreen of Stoneham, five daughters, Adrienne Gordon and her husband, Jeffrey of Millbury, Alison LeGault of Lowell, Megan LeGault and her husband, Chris Evans of Westford, Maura White and her husband, John of Swampscott, and Tara McGrath and her husband, Stephen of Boxford; a brother, Robert Evans and his wife, Kaye of Pepperell; two sisters, Elizabeth Healey of Woburn, and Ursula LeBlanc and her husband, Leo of Norfolk; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Mark LeGault, sister of the late Kenneth Evans, Elaine Healey and Lucille Powers, and sister-in-law of the late William Healey, Richard Powers and Fred Healey.
