WESTFORD, MA -- Carol Ann (Coughlin) Pick, of Westford, MA, died Thursday, October 3, 2013, at Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley in N. Billerica, MA.

She was married to Donald Bence Pick with whom she recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.

Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Bridget "Delia" Coughlin. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1953.

Carol was formerly employed with Murray Printing in Westford, and with the IRS in Andover.

She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in N. Chelmsford, MA.

Carol enjoyed golfing and was a former member of the Nabnasset Country Club. She proudly celebrated her Irish heritage, and enjoyed singing Irish folk songs.

She was a former resident of Arlington, and a resident of Westford for 50 years.

Carol was a warm and loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family above all things.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her four children, Debra A. Pick of Westford, MA, Michael W. Pick (Karin) of Ellicott City, MD, Donald H. Pick (Maureen) of Pepperell, MA, and Sandra Bridget Pareene (John) of Galloway, NJ; two brothers, William (Marguerite) Coughlin of Beverly, MA and Paul (Marilyn) Coughlin of Boxford, MA; one sister, Margaret "Peggy" (John) Bastarache of Delray Beach, FL; sister-in-law, Martha Coughlin of Haverhill, MA; and seven grandchildren, Andrew, Ryan and Justine Pick of Ellicott City, MD, Lauren and Kyle Pick of Pepperell, MA, and Stacey and Sean Pareene of Galloway, NJ.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Thomas Coughlin of Haverhill, MA, who died in February of 2009.

Carol's family would like to thank the dedicated staff at the Merrimack Valley Life Care Center for the care she received.
