BROCKTON -- Charles M. Parevoliotes, age 73, of Brockton, formerly of Lowell, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013, at the Guardian Center in Brockton, MA, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Lowell, MA, on June 21, 1940, a son of the late Manuel S. and Christine (Carakasis) Parevoliotes. He attended Mary E. Curley Junior High School in Boston, and graduated from Boston English Class of 1959.
Shortly after graduation, Charlie served a tour of duty with the United States Army.
Prior to his retirement, Charles had worked as a cab driver for many years in the Boston area.
His survivors include: a step sister, Helen Culver of FL and her children, Linda, Arthur, and Alan; a niece, Kristina Johnson of NJ; a nephew, Larry H. Johnson of AZ; one uncle, Pete Parevoliotes of CA.
He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
PAREVOLIOTES -- At his request, visiting hours have been omitted. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend his Funeral Services on Friday morning, December 6, 2013 at 11 o'clock at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 44 Princeton Blvd., Lowell, MA. Interment will follow with Military Honors at Westlawn I Cemetery, Lowell.
