Dolores J. (Cossette) Paquin

Dolores J. Paquin Loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend -- LOWELL, MA -- Dolores J. (Cossette) Paquin 81, passed away on June 30, 2013 at D'Youville Senior Care, with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 2, 1932 in Dracut, MA. She was married to the late William M. Paquin for 46 years; he was the love of her life. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Mary (Gill) Cossette, her sister Virginia (Cossette) Dailey and her husband Joseph Dailey Jr., her sister-in-law Rita (Paquin) Oulighan and her brother-in-law William Oulighan. She leaves three loving children, William J. Paquin and his wife Eileen Paquin of Dracut, Susan (Paquin) Payette and her husband David of Dracut and James Paquin. She also leaves six grandchildren; William R. Paquin, Joshua, Heather & Krista Payette and Timothy & Jennifer Paquin and several nephews. Dolores was a communicant of St. Francis Parish in Dracut for many years. She was a graduate of Keith Hall H.S., St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1953 and New England College where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology. Before retiring to New Port Richey and Daytona Beach Shores in Florida, she was a proud RN at St. Joseph's Hospital, Beaconcrest Chronic Hospital and the Arcadia Nursing Home. Dolores loved to read, enjoyed traveling and laying on the beach. She touched the lives of all that knew her. The Paquin family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the entire staff at D'Youville Senior Care and VNA Hospice of Greater Lowell, for the loving care given to her. PAQUIN -- A private memorial mass will be held for family and friends. Burial will take place privately at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Those wishing to do so may make contributions to the VNA Hospice of Greater Lowell, 336 Central St., Lowell, MA 01852 in c/o Dolores Paquin.
