Doris G. Lampron
Everybody's Auntie

PELHAM, NH -- Doris G. (Adams) Lampron, beloved wife of the late Jean P. Lampron, a resident of Pelham, NH, died on Friday April 4, 2014 at the Elliot Hospital following a brief illness. She was 83.

Doris was born in Lowell on October 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Willie and Aldea (Bourgault) Adams.

During her childhood she lived in Lowell and attended the St. Louis School, but had been a resident of Pelham, NH for many years.

Prior to her retirement Doris worked in local mills and had worked as an assembler in the manufacturing industry.

She loved playing the piano and organ. Doris looked forward to playing cards, especially 45's. She enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint and was in the process of teaching her granddaughter her technique. She also greatly enjoyed watching the boxing matches with her brother Ray.

Whether it was trips to Lake Willoughby or Chunky's to see a movie, Doris cherished the fact that it was with her family. She treasured family parties and Friday night cards. Doris didn't seem to mind when her nephews would wake her up late at night to play the piano. She didn't even complain when they would interrupt her playing because they wanted to hear a different song. This didn't bother Doris because family was paramount to her and she loved to have them around her.

Her family members describe her as loyal, patient, kind, fun and loving. She was honest, sometimes to a fault, and was known as everybody's Auntie.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Lampron and her husband Andre Pitre of Pelham, NH; two granddaughters, Nicole E. and Rachel J. Souza; and many nephews and nieces. She was also the sister of the late Raymond H. Adams.
