Eric D. McGuire Beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew -- LOWELL -- Eric Daniel McGuire, 24, of Lowell, the beloved son of Walter R. McGuire, Jr., passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 30, 2013. Eric was born in Lowell on July 22, 1988 and attended St. Margaret's Grammar School and was a graduate of Lowell High School. His employment aspirations were to become an Information Technologist. Eric was known for his warm smile and tender heart. He always expressed kindness. He enjoyed canoeing, camping, video games, and studying computer networking. Eric loved to read and listen to jazz music, Miles Davis in particular. Eric had an unmistakable hair flip. He loved animals and had a special bond with his beloved dog, Bowie and his cat, Blanket. -- Eric was always very loving and he touched the hearts of everyone who met him. He shared a remarkable bond with his family and he will be dearly missed. -- Eric is survived by his Father, Walter R. McGuire, Jr. and his wife, Sheila of Newmarket, NH; his siblings, Andrew McGuire and his wife, Kimberly of Lowell, Matthew McGuire of Jamaica Plain, Mary McGuire of Lowell, Faith McGuire of Stratham, NH, Michaela Brown, Samantha Brown, and James Brown, all of Lowell; Judith McGuire of Stratham, NH, who was a mother figure in Eric's life; Suzanne (Blier) McGuire of Lowell, his biological mother; his grandparents, Eleanor McGuire of Lowell; Andrew Blier of Lowell, and Anna Salter of Fremont, NH; his many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews including Ethan, Trevor, Logan, Aubrey, and Damien McGuire. Eric was the grandson of the late Walter McGuire, Sr. and Mary Blier. McGUIRE -- Passed away June 30, 2013, Eric D. McGuire, 24, a Lowell resident. Family and friends may call at the FAY McCABE FUNERAL HOME, 105 MOORE STREET, LOWELL, on FRIDAY from 4 until 8 P.M. Eric's Funeral will begin on Saturday morning at 8:30 A.M. from the Funeral Home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 9:30 A.M. at St. Margaret's Church, 374 Stevens St. Lowell. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tewksbury.
