PEPPERELL -- Mr. Francis R. "Frank" Rodrigues, age 65, of Pepperell, formerly of Lowell and Nashua, died on Wednesday January 30, 2013, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester following complications after a major surgery.

He was born in Lowell on March 5, 1947, son of the late James & Elizabeth (Quebec) Rodrigues. He attended Lowell High School and the University of Maryland. He served in the US Army 7th Special Forces during the Vietnam War. He was trained at the US Army's Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. He also served in the National Guard 24th Yankee Division in the 1980's, in charge of the motor pool.

Frank worked as a mechanic for over 45 years, the last 30 years at Nashua Foreign Auto until his retirement. For his first job, he worked at Bethlehem Steel in Boston with his father and brother as a crane operator.

He was a member of the American Legion Post #247 in Tyngsboro. He was also a member of the Tyngsboro Country Club for over 20 years. Recently he was a member of the Nashua Country Club in Nashua with his family. He loved to travel, play golf, do yard work and spend time with his family, which he was most proud of.

He is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Tracy & Eric Myers of Weare, NH, Lori & Gary Sepe of Pepperell, and Wendy Borsini of Pepperell; two sisters, Patricia Grenon of Goffstown, NH, and Donna Boudreau of Nashua; his former wife, Patricia Rodrigues of Pepperell; a brother-in-law, Dennis Boudreau; 9 grandchildren, Caitlyn, Eric, Miranda, Gabrielle, Mason, Philip, Andrew, Anthony and Victoria; 1 great-grandchild, Lorelei; also many nieces & nephews.

He was brother of the late James J. Rodrigues, Jr.; uncle of the late Melissa Grenon; and brother-in-law of the late Gerald Grenon.

RODRIGUES -- Francis; 65, of Pepperell. Relatives & friends are invited to his visitation at the M.R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Sunday Feb. 3 from 2:00 until 6:00 PM. Funeral Monday morning with a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 am at St. Patrick's Church, 282 Suffolk St., Lowell.
