LITTLETON -- James Hayden Harris, 70, of Littleton, died on March 5, 2013, at his residence, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Boston on January 6, 1943, the son of Marjorie Nicholson of Littleton and William Harris. He grew up in Waltham, and lived in Littleton for most of his life.

James was in the car business for more than four decades. He enjoyed collecting model cars and airplanes, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years. Elizabeth (LeDuke) Harris; his mother, Marjorie (Nicholson) Bontempo; his children, James Harris Jr., and Wendie Sammarco and her children, Andrew and Christopher Sammarco and their father, Glenn Sammarco, all of Littleton; step-brother of Patty Sinnett of North Carolina, John Bontempo of Tennessee, and Michael "Mickey" Bontempo of Shirley; and a brother-in law, Russell and his wife, Sally LeDuke of Westford; also a special friend of the family, Darin Harlow.

HARRIS -- Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m., at Badger Funeral Home, 347 King Street, Littleton, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. Please see www.badgerfuneral.com
