LOWELL -- JoAnn H. (Marcouillier) Lefebvre age 73, a longtime Lowell resident passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning February 25, 2014 at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus surrounded by her loving family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie E. "Les" Lefebvre.
Born in Peterborough, NH on December 29, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Kathryn (Hillard) Marcouillier. She attended Lowell Schools.
JoAnn had been the first chairman of Softball for the Friends of Lowell High School. She was a former member of the Outsiders Bowling League at the Brunswick Lanes in Lowell and also enjoyed her Crochet Club at the Lowell Senior Center.
She had also done Crafts and Woodworking along side her late husband Les.
Her most cherished time was that spent with her family.
Her survivors include: 3 daughters: Elaine Huff and her husband Randy of Manchester, NH, Kathryn Lefebvre and Nancy Lefebvre of Lowell. 3 sons: Leslie "Les" Lefebvre, Jr. of Lowell, Jason Lefebvre and his wife Carmen of Lowell and Matthew Lefebvre and his wife Susan of Salem, MA. 6 grandchildren: Jason Lefebvre II, Michaela Lefebvre, Rachel Huff, Zachary Lefebvre, Kathryn Huff and Matthew Lefebvre, Jr. 1 great-grandson: Oliver Lefebvre. 4 sisters: Kathy Tyrrell of Concord, NH, Donna Parent of North Carolina, Lois Fitzgerald of Pittsfield, NH and Debbie Hamelin of Dracut. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Diane Hamelin, Elaine Carney, David Marcouillier and Donald Marcouillier.
LEFEBVRE -- Family and friends may call on Friday morning Feb. 28, 2014 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the ARCHAMBAULT FUNERAL HOME, 309 Pawtucket St., Lowell to be followed by JoAnn's funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 o'clock at the Parish of St. Rita, Mammoth Rd., Lowell. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford, MA.
