PORT ST. LUCIE, Florida -- Joseph W. Foley, 83, died April 17, 2013, at his home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was a longtime summer resident of Pocasset, MA.

He was born in New Bedford, MA, the son of Peter H. and Josephine (O'Reilly) Foley.

He taught and served as Vice Principal at the Englesby Junior High School in Dracut, MA; a fulfilling career spanning 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Foley; daughter, Jeanne Laurello of Westford, MA; sons, Peter Foley of Wilbraham, MA, and James Foley of Austin, Texas; sister, Zita Foley, RSM, of Swansea, MA; and brothers, Peter Foley of Worthington, MA, and Leo Foley of Las Vegas.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren; Michael and Jennifer Laurello, Colin, Abby and Christopher Foley and Megan and Andrew Foley.

His sister, Bridget Bullard preceded him in death.

FOLEY -- A Memorial Service and celebration of his life will be held May 21 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, Main Street, Falmouth, MA. A reception will be held in the parish hall following the service. Memorial gifts may be sent to St. Barnabus Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 203, Falmouth, MA 02541.
