DRACUT -- Lorriane M. (Queenan) Laffey, 79, passed away Friday, October 11th, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of over 40 years to the late John J. Laffey who passed away in 2008.
Lorraine was born in Dracut on September 2, 1935, a daughter of the late Grace (Anderson) and Hugh Queenan. She received her education in the Dracut Schools and for many years worked as a Nurse's Aide, first at the former St. John's Hospital and later at Fairhaven Nursing Home in Lowell.
Lorriane loved to have fun, from waterskiing and dancing at the Lakeview Ballroom in her younger days, to trips to the casinos, playing keno and dining out, as well as a love of singing and Karaoke. She knew how to find enjoyment in life's simple pleasures, but above all her greatest joy was her family, who meant everything to her. Lorraine was also a great supporter of the Disabled American Veterans.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her children, Sandra Linane and her husband Jack and Cindy Riordan and her husband Michael, all of Lowell, and John Laffey and his companion Sandra Clark of Dracut; her grandchildren, Chelsea and Bridget Linane and John-Michael Riordan; her sisters Rita Marion and Dolly Dehney and her husband Charlie, all of Dracut, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband John, she was also predeceased by her husband Roger Pinette in 1963.

LAFFEY -- Relatives and Friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, October 16th, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Her funeral will take place from the funeral home on Thursday, October 17th at 8 a.m., with her Funeral Mass to be celebrated in Ste.
