GROTON, MA -- Margaret Dolores (Meehan) Pearce passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on November 11, 2012 with her family at her side. Peggy was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania February 25, 1944 daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Wodarski) Meehan and grew up in West Philadelphia where she attended school and was a graduate of West Catholic High School, class of 1962. After marriage, Peggy made her home in Groton, Massachusetts where they lived for many years.
Peggy spent many years employed by Digital Equipment in Maynard with increasing responsibilities and retired in 1998 as a Business Manager.
Peggy's greatest joy was spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren, who brought her the greatest pleasure.
She also enjoyed traveling and playing golf with her husband, Dennis.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Dennis P. Pearce of Groton, her daughter, Carol A. Flavin and her husband Stephen of Pepperell, Massachusetts; and her son Dennis P. Pearce Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth of Keene, New Hampshire.
She is also lovingly remembered by her five grandchildren, Simone Fyfe, Molly Flavin, C.J. Flavin, Dennis Pearce III, and Emily Flavin.
Additionally, Peggy is also survived by her sister Maureen Boyle of West Chester, Pennsylvania; Thomas Meehan of Glenolden, Pennsylvania; and Robert Meehan of Parish, Florida; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Peggy is predeceased by her sister, Barbara Connell of Devon, Pennsylvania.

Fri 6-8 P.M. at the Hamilton-McGAFFIGAN Funeral Home, 37 Main St. (Rte 113) Pepperell, MA. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Held 10 A.M. Saturday November 17, 2012 at Our Lady of Grace Parish Worshipping at St. James Church, St. James Avenue, West Groton. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
