CHELMSFORD -- Pearl (Strobel) Hebert, 90, formerly of Lowell, MA, passed away at the Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford, MA on December 5, 2012.

She was born in Lowell, September 3, 1922, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Clara (Claus) Strobel.

She was the beloved wife of Mr. George B. Hebert, Sr. They were married on July 27, 1941, and celebrated their 71st Anniversary this year.

She had lived in Lowell since 1943, formerly residing in Tyngsboro, and was a member of the First United Baptist Church in Lowell.

She devoted her life to providing a happy and loving home for her husband and nine children.

Besides her husband, she is survived and will be greatly missed by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bernard J. and Robin Hebert of Pepperell, and George B. Hebert, Jr. of Lowell; five daughters and five
sons-in-law, Shirley A. and Gerard L'Heureux, of Pelham, NH, Barbara J. and Ervin Leonard of Hudson, NH, Bonnie M. and William Daly of Lowell, Pearl M. and Raymond Bergeron of Pelham, NH, and Renee J. and John Nichols of Chelmsford; and one sister, Claralyn Rollins of East Granby, CT; 13 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She was also the mother of the late Karen L. Chenelle and Shawn A. Hebert; and sister to the late Helen Wilkinson, Adolf Strobel, Hermine Eaton, and Harold Strobel.

A "Celebration of Life" for family and friends is being planned and will be held at a later date.
