PELHAM -- Peter Lepore III, 80, of Pelham, died Monday morning, February 25th at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Florence V. (Spear) Lepore.
Born in Revere, Massachusetts, August 14, 1932, the son of the late Peter Lepore II and the late Alice (Palladino) Lepore, he attended Wilmington, Massachusetts schools and was a graduate of Wilmington High School in the Class of 1950. He then went on to graduate from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education in 1959.
A veteran of the Korean War, Peter proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy
from 1951 to 1955 as a Navigator in the Air Division.
Before retiring, Peter was owner and operator of Lepore Enterprises in Wilmington, MA, Lepore Industries also in Wilmington and Tall Tree Sawmill in Pelham. Previously, he was a history and science teacher at Medford High School in Medford, MA.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars
Among his many enjoyments, Peter always looked forward to his morning rendezvous' meeting all his friends and tradesmen for coffee at the Hilltop Country Store & Deli on Mammoth Road in Pelham.
Peter is survived by a son Leland C. Lepore and his wife Cathy Montanarella of Bedford, NH; a daughter Janet R. Daigle of Pelham, NH; four granddaughters Alicia, Alanna, Victoria and Olivia; a sister Eileen T. Lepore of Windham, NH; a brother Raymond N. Lepore of Wilmington, MA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also brother of the late Dr. Ralph Lepore.

LEPORE -- In Pelham, Feb. 25, 2013, at home, Peter Lepore III, husband of the late Florence V. (Spear) Lepore. Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 Nashua Rd. in Pelham on Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in Pelham at 10 o'clock.
