LITTLETON -- Robert A. Marquis, 51, of Littleton, died unexpectedly at his residence on October 7, 2012.

He was born in Lowell on October 10, 1960, the son of Florence (Lemire) Marquis of Lowell and the late Paul H. Marquis. He grew up in Lowell and was a graduate of Lowell Vocational Technical School majoring in electronics and auto mechanics.

He worked as a Security Guard for First Security, Spire Corp., as a supervisor, and most recently Buckland Security.

He has made his home in Lowell and most recently Littleton for the past nine years. Bob enjoyed being with his children and grandchildren, automotive repair and watching "Hot Rod" shows on TV, and loved watching Sci-Fi Movies with his family.

Mr. Marquis is survived by his mother, Florence Marquis of Lowell; his wife, Dorothy (Connelly) Marquis of Littleton; four children, Robert Marquis of Littleton, Paul Marquis of Groton, Lauren Marquis of Lowell, and Julie Marquis of Littleton; two brothers, Norman R. and his wife, Theresa Marquis of Tyngsboro, and Richard M. and his wife, Catherine Marquis of Pepperell. He was the brother of Collette M. Marquis of Lowell, and the late Pauline Marquis. Bob is also survived by five grandchildren, Julie, AJ, Shasha, Andre, and Aleah; and his special friends, Daryll Marsh and Lenny Buckland.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

MARQUIS -- Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, October 15 from 4-8 pm. at the Badger Funeral Home. 347 King St., Littleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne's Church, 75 King St., Littleton on Tuesday, October 16 at 10 am. Burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, E. Chelmsford.
