LOWELL -- Roeung Chun, of Lowell, died Tuesday evening, April 30, 2013, at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus.
He was married to Bun Ham. Born in Cambodia, he was the son of Chun and Yun. Roeung came to the United States in 1986, and was a resident of Lowell for 25 years.
Roeung worked as a nurse in Thailand, and as a carpenter in Cambodia.
He was a member of Glory Temple in Lowell.
Roeung was an avid boxing fan and enjoyed gardening.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Sokhorn and his wife, Vanida Chun of Lowell, Raymond Chun and his fiancée, Sarah Comtois of Dracut, and Chandara Chun of Lowell; three daughters, Khemara Chun and her husband, Tohn Dom of Nashua, NH, Sarin Chun and her fiancé, Fabricio Marinero of Lowell, and Chanthy Chun of NJ; and six grandchildren, Eric, Alicia, and Tyler Dom, Cheyenne Chun, Davany Thongchun, and Isabella Marinero.
CHUN -- Visiting hours Friday. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex St., Chelmsford. Services at the Glory Temple in Lowell Fri., 3 to 8 p.m. and Sat. from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Followed by a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at Westlawn II Cemetery, Lowell.
