LOWELL -- Vincent Dinsmore, 65, of Lowell, died Wednesday, March 19, at Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus, after a brief illness. He was the widower of the late Mary E. (Murphy) Dinsmore, to whom he was married 38 years before her death in 2010.
A son of the late James and the late Madeline (Zabbo) Dinsmore, he was born September 10, 1948, in Lowell, and was educated in the Lowell Schools, graduating from Lowell Technical High School. He then worked to attained his Master Electrician License, and worked as an electrician for Raytheon Corporation for more than 30 years before his retirement.

, Mr. Dinsmore made his lifelong home in Lowell. Family was most important to him, and he enjoyed time spent with all of them as they were his pride and joy. He was also an avid bowler, as well as a bowling coach, and collected trains. In addition, he loved cats, roller skating, and going to restaurants with his family.
He is survived by his children, Kristen Jordan and her husband, Mark Jr., of Lowell, Michael Dinsmore and his wife, Elizabeth, of Lowell, and Mark Dinsmore and his wife, Mandi, of Westford; his grandchildren, Madisyn, Hailey, Isabella Rose, Hope, Brady, and Lucas Dinsmore; his sister, Janet Smith and her husband, Ernest, of Dracut; his brothers, Edward Dinsmore and his wife, Sheila, of Chelmsford, and Stephen Dinsmore and his wife, Priscilla, of Dracut; his sister-in-law, Jeanine Dinsmore of Berryville, VA; his aunt, Rose Costa of Lowell; his uncle, Vincent Zabbo of Lowell; his lifelong friend, Judy McNamara; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was also a brother of the late James Dinsmore, Jr.
