To the Jordan Family. Today I was cleaning out a drawer and uncovered a letter that was written to me by your Mum in 1985 after I had the pleasure of staying with Mr and Mrs Jordan. I googled and was directed to this site.
I would like to say that it was a very special stay for me in Woodford and Mr Jordan was so welcoming when he met me off the plane in Boston from England. It was a joy to be embraced by such a lovely family and I have very fond memories of you all. I send you my best wishes,Jane Windsor(Childs)- 17 Freshman Way Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 9GN, England.

TO DICK'S FAMILY . . .

I HAVE SUCH FOND MEMORIES OF DICK FROM THE EARLY 50'S. HE WAS ONE OF A GROUP OF NICE, FUN LOVING, CLEAN CUT GUYS THAT I MET THROUGH BILL SHAUGHNESSY. I WILL NEVER FORGET ALL THE GREAT TIMES WE HAD TOGETHER.

SEVERAL YEARS BACK, I SPOKE TO DICK AND DOROTHY IN FLORIDA WHEN BILL WAS VISITING THERE, AND WE ALL REMINISCED ABOUT THE GOOD OLD DAYS.

I PRAY ALL YOUR WONDERFUL MEMORIES WILL SUSTAIN YOU DURING THIS SAD TIME.

MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO YOU ALL!
FROM AN OLD FRIEND,
JUNE

To the family of Dick Jordan,

I knew Dick many years ago, when he, Bill Shaughnessy,
and Jean Wolfe and the rest of the gang went to the beach
and parties, etc., in the 50's. My husband, Dick, also knew
Dick when he was at Northeastern University at the same
time.

Your father was full of fun and enjoyed life. We are sorry
for your loss.

Sincerely, Jane Calandrella Blagden
