Hugh J. 'Drew' Keegan Jr. of Billerica, was chef at Boston College; 53 BILLERICA Hugh J. "Drew" Keegan Jr., age 53, husband of Kerry (Walsh) Keegan, died Thursday, August 23, 2007, at their home, after a long illness. He was born in Boston, Sept. 22, 1953, the son of Mary (Kelly) Keegan of South Boston, and the late Hugh J. Keegan Sr. He lived in Waltham before moving to Billerica in 1979. Mr. Keegan was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America class of 1976, and during his career worked at the Ritz in Boston, and as a chef for Concord Caterer in Burlington, the Gallagher Restaurant in Boston and Burlington and most recently had been employed as a chef for Boston College for the past 16 years. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Emily Keegan and Kathleen Keegan, both of Billerica;a brother, Michael Keegan of VT, three sisters, Jane Doherty of California, Judith DiMarzo of Wayland, and Kelly Reeves of Rhode Island.
