COLORADO SPRINGS, CO -- Richard Aristide Brabant, Sr., passed away peacefully in his home on February 23, 2016 in Colorado Springs, CO. He was 71.

Richard was born on October 3, 1944, the son of the late Aristide and Elizabeth Brabant of Wilmington, MA.

Brother of the late John "Jack" Brabant and the late Amanda "Mandy" Turner.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Janice Brabant of Colorado Springs, CO; his brother, Paul Brabant of North Reading, MA; and his sister, Gail Brabant True of Tennessee.

Richard is also survived by his son, Richard Aristide Brabant, Jr. and grandson, Sebastian of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Shirley Brabant Adams, her husband, Donald and granddaughter, Jessica Bedard of Winter Springs, FL; son, Robert Brabant, his wife, Alison and grandsons, Robert and Thomas of Wilmington, MA; son, Ronald Brabant, his wife, Rhonda and grandchildren, Treavor, Brooklynn and Kelsey of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Stacey Palm, her husband, Erik Palm and grandson, Aristide of Wilmington, MA.

Richard is also survived by his beloved nephews and niece, Joseph Valente and his wife, Joanne of Wilmington, MA, Mark Valente of Tewksbury, MA, and Shannon (Turner) Cassidy, her husband, Michael of Tyngsboro, MA; as well as many Aunts, Uncles, sisters in-laws, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.

A private family memorial will take place on March 1, 2016 in Colorado Springs, CO.
