Sharyn M. (MacDougall) Hoban

NEWTON, MA -- Sharyn M. (MacDougall) Hoban, age 46, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012. after a long battle with breast cancer. She was the loving mother of two sons, Zachary J. Hoban, age 19, Alexander J. Hoban, age 17, both of Westborough, MA.
Born in Boston, on April 9th, 1966, she is the beloved daughter of Madelyn Capelotti Nawn, the late Melvin A. MacDougall and step father, Stephen Nawn, of Woodstock, NH. A former resident from Billerica, and was a graduate of Billerica High School, Class of 1984, and Salem State College.
She worked for the past nine years as a Paralegal for Timothy R Loff, attorney at Law of Newton.
Sharyn was full of life. She especially enjoyed spending time with her sons and her love, Leo "Frank". She loved music, especially the Rolling Stones, the Holidays, and going to King Richards Fair. Sharyn loved pictures, she loved snapping photos and being in them too. Bright and happy smile. She had many friends.
She will be greatly missed.
She is also survived by her fiancé, Leo Gerwick; a sister, Lynne M. Burke and husband, Steven, both from Westford, MA; a brother, David MacDougall and wife, Debbie of Cape Coral, Florida; one uncle; three aunts; many cousins, a niece, Nicole; two nephews, Ian and Andrew; three godchildren; and lifelong friends and beloved cats, Missy and Mick (Jagger).
HOBAN -- A Mass will be held at St. Andrews Parish, 46 Talbot Ave., North Billerica on October 20th, 2012 at 10:00 a.m Followed by a celebration of life at the Billerica Country Club, 51 Baldwin Rd., Billerica, MA. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco TX 75034 in memory of Sharyn M Hoban.
