Alan Mercier
1962 -- 2013

SAN DIEGO, CA -- Alan Mercier, age 50, was called into the arms of God on Feb. 6th, 2013 at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his friends and dedicated caregiver, Jason Mikell with whom he had a special bond.

He was the son of Constance (Connie) Mercier and the late Arthur A Mercier. Alan was born, grew up and educated in Lowell, MA.

He was a resident of San Diego, CA for the past 15 years. Alan worked as a Sales and Service Rep for ESA in Chelmsford, MA for 25 years.

He was a vibrant young man who had a beautiful soul and loved life and living. His most recent and important job was giving and caring for those in need.

Survivors besides his mother are two brothers, Normand and his wife, Theresa of Pelham, NH, Brian Mercier; two sisters, Susan Mercier and Diane Desrosiers of Lowell, MA; and many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.
