NASHUA, NH -- Ama Yeboah Sakyi, age 64 of Nashua, NH and formerly of Ghana died at her home Saturday October 6, 2012 surrounded by her loved ones.
Born March 10, 1948 in Akim-Oda Ghana, she was the daughter of the late Kwadjo and Adwoa (Baako) Duku and she was the wife of Mr. Yaw Adu-Twum Sakyi, of Nashua.
Ama attended schools in Ghana. She was self-employed as a seamstress. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking & dancing, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her husband, sons, daughter, grandchildren, godchildren & entire family/closest friends.
Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, daughters & a daughter-in-law. Her children are as follows: Her son Mr. Kwabena Acquah, of Ghana, and second son Mr. Augustine Kwadjo Adu Twum Sakyi and his wife, Sori Modi Adu Twum, of Manchester, NH. Her daughter Akua Biamah and her husband Kwabena Asare Appiah, of Ghana: Two grandchildren, Derek Kwabena Adu Twum, of Lowell, Massachusetts and Naveed Yeboah Adu Twum as well as several brothers, sisters, & cousins including Senior brother Mr. Kwadwo Duku,Tenehene of Akim-Oda, Senior sisters Akua Ketewah, & Adwoa Aboagywah of Ghana, Senior brother Mr. Kwasi Annafi of Chicago, IL and Akua Owusua Queen Mother of Okyeman Association Chicago, IL. Everyone loved Ama dearly, she was extremely generous and caring individual & she will truly missed by all that ever interacted with her. Madam AmaYeboah Sakyi rest in perfect peace.
SAKYI -- Visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday December 8, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
