LOWELL -- Mr. Andrew Mihos, 82, passed away Monday October 7th at Saints Medical Center.
Andrew was born in Grevena, Greece on October 25, 1930, a son of the late Constantino and Despina (Stylos) Mihos.
Andrew immigrated in 1955 to the United States at an early age, settling in Lowell where he met his wife Heidi Bademas and married her in 1959.
He worked for Grace shoe for many years helping to manufacturer the shoes.
Andrew was a longtime member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Lowell. He was a well liked man for his gentle personality and smile. Andrew enjoyed traveling back to Greece to visit with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Heidi (Bademas) Mihos of Lowell, a brother, Athanasios Mihos of Greece; nieces and nephews, Costas, Despina, Maria, Constantina, Mihos all of Greece, Dina and Sotirios Angelakis of Arlington, and several other nieces and nephews.
MIHOS -- Relatives and friends will be received at the M.R.LAURIN FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Thursday, October 10th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. His funeral will take place on Friday at 9am at the Funeral Home to be followed by a service at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Westlawn II Cemetery, Lowell. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Holy Trinity Church Restoration Fund, Fr.
