AYER -- Angelina M. (Forte) Ford, 81, of Ayer, died Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Emerson Hospital, Concord.
Mrs. Ford was born in Lawrence, July 18, 1931, a daughter of Andrea and Irene H. (Rizzio) Forte and has resided in Ayer for forty five years.
She was an active member of St. Andrew's Church in Ayer, had enjoyed line dancing and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Ford retired as a legal secretary at the Judge Advocate General Corps Office at Fort Devens.
She leaves her husband of 59 years, Delbert E. Ford; two sons, William L. Ford of Tuscon, Arizona, Rodney A. Ford and his wife, Jane, of Ayer; a sister, Marilyn Ferro of Tewksbury; three grandchildren, Owen Leed-Ford, Tahnee Rifaiy, Carlton Ford; four great-grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews including Barbara and Chet Lear, Sharon Atwood, Jimmy Mahaffey, Talia Mace, Alyson Ferro, Kristyn and Andrew Oliveira and brother-in-law, Jim Mace.
She was the sister of the late Andrew Forte, Lorraine Mace and Isabel Mahaffey.
FORD -- A Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 25 at 10:00 am at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 7 Faulkner St., Ayer.
Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7, Thursday, January 24 at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Rd. (RT 2A), Ayer. Please see www.andersonfuneral.com for additional information.
