WESTFORD -- Ann M. (Ferdinand) McEnnis, 55, of Westford, MA, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at her home in Westford surrounded by her family.
She was married to Mark McEnnis with whom she would have celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary on April 25, 2013.
Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of Anthony Ferdinand of Pembroke, NH and the late Bridie Ferdinand. She graduated from Tewksbury High School with the class of 1975.
She worked for many years as the Assistant Treasurer for the Town of Westford, and was a resident of Westford for 25 years.
Ann was a member of the 401 Club. She enjoyed gardening and spending time at the beach. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Besides her husband and her father, she is survived by two sons, Mark and his wife, Pamela McEnnis of Tyngsboro, and Sean McEnnis and his fiancée, Katherine King of Westford; four grandchildren, Markey, Victor, Matias and Nicholas McEnnis; her brother in-law, Charles L. McEnnis of Rockwood, ME. and his children, Charles (Moss) McEnnis, Caleb W. McEnnis and Sarah H. Mitis and her husband, Nico of Lowell; her sister-in-law, Karen Gagnon and her husband, Joe and their daughter, Kerrie of Dracut, MA; four brothers, Anthony Ferdinand of Brookline NH, James and his wife, Deirdre Ferdinand of Litchfield, NH, Paul and his wife, Nuala of Pinehurst, NC, and Peter Ferdinand of Fitchburg, MA; four sisters, Susan Murphy of West Roxbury, Barbara and her husband, Brian O'Dell of Cleveland, OH, her special friend and sister, Kathleen Ferdinand of Dracut and Bridget and her husband, David Desroches of Groton; and many nieces and nephews.
McENNIS -- Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery, Tewksbury.
