Betty J. (Davis) Patterson formerly of Billerica, MA; 87
NASHUA, NH -- Betty J. (Davis) Patterson, age 87, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Kindred Healthcare in Nashua, NH after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Alexander S. Patterson to whom she was married 54 years.
Born in Belleville, IL, she was the daughter of the late Delmer and Mae (Briggs) Davis. Betty was a proud volunteer with the Army/ Air Force French Cadet's in Montgomery, Alabama during WWII. Betty later worked for many years as a secretary with Sylvania Electric Products and GTE in Woburn, Waltham, and Billerica until her retirement. She lived in Somerville for 7 years prior to moving to Billerica where she resided for 54 years until she relocated to Nashua. Betty was a member of the Red Hat's in Nashua and the St. Laurent Campers Association in Royalston, MA.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Adams of Nashua, her two sons and daughters-in-law, David Patterson and his wife, Ann, of New Ipswich, NH and Daniel Patterson and his wife, Cheryl, of Lowell. She also leaves her 7 loving grandchildren, Amy, Matt, Jonathan, Melinda, Suzanne, Jason and Vicki, and her 6 great-grandchildren, Brody, Russell, Audrey, Norah, Dillon and Eva.

Funeral services will be held in the Burns Funeral Home, 354 Boston Rd. (Rt. 3A), Billerica, Monday, February 4, at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours, Sunday, 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Betty's name to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio St., Suite 304, Chicago, IL 60611.
