Me and my friend, George Poirer, just visited Cliff last week. George lived across the hall from Cliff at the Rogers hospital during the summer of 2013 and they shared many good times together including harmonizing to songs from the 1920s and '30s. At our visit last week George sang an old tune to Cliff who stirred slightly, opened his eyes a bit, and smiled but never really woke up from his rest. We were very happy to have known him and hope that he dwells peacefully in the hereafter.

Uncle Cliffy - You had a smile that would light up a room & you never missed an opportunity to sing! You were so thoughtful and generous to Nana and everyone else you met. Thanks for your military service and fighting for the freedoms that we all enjoy. You truly are a hero and will live forever in our thoughts and hearts. We will miss you!
