U. S. Air Force Vietnam War Veteran

LOWELL -- Daniel T. Reilly, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died unexpectedly April 20, 2014, in Lowell, aged 63 years.

Born in Lowell, March 10, 1951, a son of the late Frederick T. and Lorraine (Evicci) Reilly. He received his early education in the Lowell school system and graduated from the Lowell Trade School with the Class of 1969.

Mr. Reilly enlisted in the U. S. Air Force on March 4, 1971, serving as an electrician on a reconnaissance aircraft during the Vietnam War. Sergeant Reilly received the National Defense Service Medal and was honorably discharged on June 30, 1973. He was a proud Air Force Veteran who loved his family and his country.

He is survived by a son, Michael Reilly; a daughter, Tracy Reilly; his grandchildren; a brother, David G. "Digger" Reilly and his fiancée, Anna Silva of Lowell; a sister, Mary P. Pimentel and her husband, Richard of Salem, NH; a niece, Kim Savary and her husband, Raymond of Tyngsboro; three nephews, Daniel Nicholson of Nashua, NH, Stephen Pimentel of Salem, NH, and Derek Pimentel and his wife, Lisa of Dracut;. He also leaves many good friends at the Princeton House in Lowell, especially his close friend, David E. Jewett. He was the uncle of the late Lisa King.

Friends will be received at the MORSE-BAYLISS Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Blvd., Lowell, on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. His Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 AM, followed by his Interment with Military Honors in the National Cemetery, Bourne, MA, at 2:15 PM.
