DRACUT, MA -- Dolores L. Lemieux, 72, died peacefully, Monday, December 3rd, at the Westford House in Westford, MA. She was the widow of Albert J. Lemieux, who died in 1997.
Dolores was born in Lowell, MA on August 18, 1940, a daughter of the late Jeannette (Glaude) and Menard Michaud. She was educated in Lowell and a graduate of St. Joseph's High School class of 1954.
Dolores dedicated her life to caring and loving her family. She enjoyed reading and solving cross word puzzles, but most importantly spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Dolores had a great sense of humor and was loved by all. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Dolores is survived by her 4 sons, Mark Lemieux and his wife Marianne of Hudson, Andre Lemieux and his wife Lisa of Hudson, Albert J. Lemieux III and his wife Christine of Pelham, Christian Lemieux and his wife Secret of Lowell, one daughter, Lisa McHugh and her husband Kevin of Lowell; her siblings, Albert Michaud of Texas, Florence Pajak of Haverhill, Gertrude Michaud of Lowell; 16 beloved grandchildren, Lindsay, Allyson, Connor, Evan, Devon, Taylor, Sarah, Meghan, Joshua, Elijah, James, Madeleine, Bethany, David, Breanna and Kyle, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Dorothee Daigle and the late Pearl Hanley.
LEMIEUX -- Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 4-8 p.m. on THURSDAY, December 6th at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Her funeral Mass will take place from the funeral home at 9 a.m. on FRIDAY, December 7th, with her funeral Mass to follow at 10 a.m. at St. Kathryn's Church in Hudson. Burial will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery in Chelmsford.
