WINCHENDON, MA -- Dorothy M. (Donahue) Byrne, 66, died peacefully, Wednesday, November 28th, 2012, at her daughter's home. She was the wife of the late George A. Byrne who passed away in 2009.
Dorothy was born in Cambridge, MA on August 13, 1946, daughter of the late Dorothy (McArthur) and Elmer Donahue. She was educated in Somerville and a graduate of Somerville High School.
For many years, Dorothy was employed as a cook at McDonald's in Billerica.
Dorothy enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her and she will be greatly missed by all of them.
Dorothy is survived and will be deeply missed by her three daughters, Debbie Pesce and her husband, Steven of Winchendon, Kelly Raymond and her husband, Brian of Dracut, and Karen Simard and her husband, Kevin of Derry, NH; a sister, Catherine Bizier of No. Andover and her late husband, Carl; five grandchildren, Robby and Kevin Pesce, Joey Raymond and Ryan and Meghan Simard; as well as several nieces and nephews.
