LITCHFIELD, NH -- Dorothy V. (Blair) Richards, 84, of Litchfield, NH formerly of Billerica/Wilmington, MA died December 11, 2012 surrounded by her loving family from complications due to Alzheimer's disease at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.

She was the wife of the late Robert J. Richards Sr. who died in 2003. They were married in 1946 in York, Maine.

Born in Boston, MA she was the second of six children of Clarence Blair and Dorothea (Silva) Conroy. She is survived by her sister Beverly Belshaw of Sammamish, WA and her brother Clarence Blair of Milford, NH. She was predeceased by her sister Lois Belben and brothers Donald Blair and Miledge Blair.

She was a waitress for over 20 years, working at the Branding Iron in Tewksbury, MA and Garnishes Restaurant at Macys (formerly Jordan Marsh) at the Burlington Mall among others. She enjoyed knitting, traveling on cruises and day trips to Foxwoods Casino. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Robert J. (Butch) Richards Jr. and his wife Donna of Hollywood FL, her three daughters Lois Radzik and her husband Peter of Lowell, MA, Priscilla (Penny) Batten & her husband Jack of Litchfield, NH, and Bonnie Cavanagh and her husband Scott of Litchfield, NH. She was predeceased by her son Michael (Mickey) Richards of Rochester, NH who passed away in 2010. She was the proud grandmother of eleven grandchildren, Steven (Malcolm) Collins, Lisa (Collins) Ostlund and her husband Daniel, Dannielle Richards, Rachel Richards, Rocky Richards, Leah Richards, Michael Richards, Gregory Batten, Gina Richards, Riley Cavanagh and Chloe Cavanagh.
