DRACUT -- Edmond F. Pay, 70, of Dracut, died Saturday, September 7th at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell. He was the beloved husband of Geraldine Pagano Pay with whom he celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on April 27th of this year.

Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island, September 24, 1942, the son of the late Edmond J. and the late Katherine L. (Gilbert) Pay, he attended Cumberland, RI schools and was a graduate of Cumberland High School. He then went on to graduate from Roger Williams College in Newport, RI with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.

A veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, Edmond proudly served his country as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force.

Before retiring, he was employed as a Source Engineer with Boeing Aircraft Corporation in Lexington, MA. Previously, he worked at Raytheon Corporation in RI.

Among his many activities, Edmond was a member of the Leo C. Roth American Legion Post #315 in Dracut.

In addition to his wife Geraldine, Edmond is survived by a daughter Lori Anderson and her husband Greg of Richmond, RI; a son Michael Pay and his wife Lori of Berkley, MA; six grandchildren Kurtis, Sydney and Devin Anderson and Cassandra, Elizabeth and Christopher Pay; two sisters-in-law Eleanor Leach and her husband Bruce of Wells River, VT and Donna Denny and her husband Bill of Wade, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

PAY -- In Lowell, Sept. 7, 2013, at Lowell General, Edmond F. Pay, 70, of Dracut, husband of Geraldine (Pagano) Pay. Friends may call at the O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass to be celebrated Thursday morning at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTON CHURCH (Lower Church) at 10 o'clock. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury. Those wishing may make contributions in his memory to the Lowell Humane Society, 951, Broadway, Lowell, MA 01854.
